Renault-Nissan Alliance Ungguli Toyota & VW

Setelah mencaplok Mitsubishi, penjualan Renault-Nissan Alliance langsung mengalahkan Toyota Group dan VW Group pada semester I 2017.

Penjualan Renault, Nissan dan Mitsubishi mencapai 5,268,079 kendaraan sepanjang Januari – Juni 2017. Renault Group (Renault & Dacia) membukukan penjualan 1,879,288 unit, Nissan (Nissan, Datsun & Infiniti) 2,894,488 mobil dan truk, serta Mitsubishi 494,303 kendaraan.

Volkswagen Group (Volkswagen Passenger Cars, VW Commercial Vehicles, Audi, Porsche, Skoda, SEAT, MAN & Scania) menorehkan penjualan 5,155,600 kendaraan.

Penjualan Toyota Group (Toyota, Daihatsu, & Hino) 5,129,000 unit. Toyota menyumbang 4,622,000 kendaraan, Daihatsu 419,000 unit, dan Hino 88,000 unit.

Di antara ketiga group rakasasa di atas, pertumbuhan penjualan Renault-Nissan Alliance (termasuk Mitsubishi) paling tinggi yaitu naik 7% dibandingkan periode yang sama pada 2016. VW Group tumbuh 0,8% dan Toyota Group 2,7%.

“Aliansi telah mengukir penjualan pada semester pertama 2017 sebanyak 5.268.079 kendaraan. Kami akan terus memanfaatkan skala ekonomi dan kehadiran kami di pasar global yang signifikan untuk memberikan sinergi berharga bagi perusahaan-perusahaan anggota kami tahun ini, sambil mempertahankan jajaran teknologi yang kuat dan menawarkan para pelanggan model-model listrik inovatif,” kata Carlos Ghosn, chairman and chief executive of the Renault-Nissan Alliance.

“Aliansi kami yang diperluas cukup baik untuk mewujudkan potensi penuhnya, tidak hanya dalam hal volume unit, tapi juga dengan menyediakan layanan mobilitas generasi mendatang kepada para pelanggan di seluruh dunia.”###
