Penjualan Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi di 2017 Tinggalkan Toyota Group

Paris – Penjualan Aliansi Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi pada 2017 berhasil melampaui raksasa Toyota Group (Baca: Penjualan Toyota Group 2017 Naik 2,1%).

Aliansi yang dibentuk sekitar 2 tahun lalu  (Aliansi Renault-Nissan sendiri berdiri pada 1999 dan Mitsubishi bergabung pada Oktober 2016) ini membukukan penjualan 10,608,366 kendaraan pada 2017 atau naik 6,5%.

Pertumbuhan tersebut sangat dibantu oleh semakin diminatinya SUV, kendaraan niaga ringan serta kendaraan listrik.

Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance mengklaim pencapaian 10,6 juta unit menandai bahwa setiap 9 mobil yang dijual di dunia salah satunya adalah dari Aliansi.

“Dengan lebih dari 10,6 juta mobil penumpang dan kendaraan komersial ringan yang dijual di tahun 2017, Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi telah menjadi grup otomotif nomor satu di seluruh dunia. Evolusi ini mencerminkan luas dan kedalaman jangkauan model kami, kehadiran pasar global dan daya tarik pelanggan terhadap teknologi kendaraan kami,” kata Carlos Ghosn, chairman and chief executive officer of Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi.

Pada 2017, Aliansi beroperasi di hampir 200 negara di dunia. Aliansi ini terdiri dari 10 merek Renault, Nissan, Mitsubishi Motors, Dacia, Renault Samsung Motors, Alpine, Lada, Infiniti, Venucia and Datsun.

Penjualan Renault Grupe sepanjang 2017 menorehkan angka 3.761.634 unit atau naik 8,5% dibandingkan tahun 2016. Penjualan Nissan Motor 5.816.278 unit (+4,5%), sementara Mitsubishi Motors 1.030.454 unit (10%).##
